Interview guide

When buying new shoes, it is always ideal to follow a care guide. The care given to your shoes will make them last over time. We advise you to use the Woly or Collonil brands which have a very good quality/price ratio. Do not hesitate to contact us at the following email address: info@nerogiardini.fr if you need advice or if you wish to add one of these products to your order.
  1. Waterproof your shoes
The waterproofing has a protective function against bad weather and possible stains. This spray is suitable for any type of leather, suede or textile product. How to use it? Simply spray a sheet coat of product on new or clean items. Once done, let them dry and ventilate the room.
  1. How to maintain your leather shoes?
In order to keep leather shoes in good condition, it is essential to polish them. The leather must also be nourished to maintain its luster.

The nourishing cream:
Use a cream that is slightly lighter than the leather of your shoes. Gently apply the cream in a circular motion with a soft cloth on previously dusted shoes. Let it dry for a few minutes and then scrub it with a soft brush.

The polish:
Choose a polish that suits your shoes (type and color of leather). Use a cloth to apply the product in a circular motion. Let dry and polish your shoes with a shine brush or cotton cloth.
  1. How do you care for your suede, nubuck, etc. shoes?
To keep them in their original appearance, they must be maintained. To do this, we advise you to brush them regularly using a crepe brush and to always brush the shoes in the direction of the fibres. If smudges remain, use an eraser. You will also find special shampoos for this type of shoe.
  1. How to maintain your canvas shoes?
These shoes do not require any special treatment apart from waterproofing. Machine washing is not recommended. In general, a new sponge and a little mild soap are enough to remove the stains. Rinse with a damp cloth and let dry.
